Club where women arrested in prostitution sting to stay closed another month

The owners of a dance club and a spa in southwestern Brunswick County where women were arrested earlier this month for solicitation of prostitution have been ordered to keep their businesses closed for at least another 30 days.

ABC to reopen shuttered Castle Hayne store

New Hanover County Alcoholic Beverage Control plans to re-open a shuttered liquor store in Castle Hayne by June 1 after an analysis showed that the ABC could break even or make a small profit with the store open.
