Brunswick Family Assistance has new director, in need of volunteers

Carol Phelps spent the best part of 24 years teaching, but a seven-year stint working for a battered women’s shelter in the 1990s revealed her true passion.So she quit teaching in 2004 and has recently become executive director of Brunswick Family Assistance.
