Tax hike proposed for Wrightsville Beach

Wrightsville Beach property owners might see their taxes rise in the coming year, from 8 cents to 10.4 cents per $100 of assessed value. Town Manager Bob Simpson presented a proposed budget for fiscal year 2010-2011, which starts in July, at the aldermen’s meeting on Thursday.
