Surf City bridge work to block traffic

Surf City | Maintenance work on the Surf City Swing Bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway will cause intermittent lane closures starting Wednesday. The work will take place 9 a.m.-3 p.m. through Friday and 8 p.m.-5 a.m. Sunday through May 21, according to a news release from the N.C. Department of Transportation.
