Families of the two women killed in an Ocean Isle Beach parasailing accident filed a lawsuit in state court against the boat owners and operators despite the company’s attempt to limit its liability.

Temperatures in the 90s and sweltering humidity have marked the beginning of summer. Cape Fear Hospital already has seen patients affected by the heat.
