Judge approves Bannerman Station’s plan to settle debt

A bankruptcy court judge has approved Bannerman Holdings LLC’s plan to turn over 11 of 15 unsold condominiums in the downtown Bannerman Station development and an adjacent parking lot in order to satisfy its debt to SunTrust Bank.

Lockdown lifted at Hoggard, Roland Grise and Alderman

Hoggard High School, Roland Grise Middle School and Alderman Elementary School were briefly on administrative lockdown while authorities search for a suspect who ran into the woods behind the Verizon building on Shipyard Boulevard, according to Cpl. Jerry Brewer, a spokesman for the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office.
