Homes for Heroes arrives in Wilmington with new homeowners

The Alfords, who will be living in Stevens Fine Homes’ Grayson Park subdivision, were the first buyers to benefit from a program called Homes for Heroes, which was formally kicked off here on Monday as U.S. Rep. Mike McIntyre (D-N.C.) cut a ceremonial ribbon stretched across the old entrance to Thalian Hall.
