I had never given blood before. I felt justified in this because, after all, it’s my blood and, frankly, I’m still using it. Then I found out that we have 10 to 12 pints of blood in our bodies, and we really don’t need it all. So that fact (and the promise of a Nabs buffet) convinced me to make my first deposit at the blood bank.
