New districts mean changes for voters

The shouts from Southeastern North Carolina weren’t heard by the General Assembly, which last week approved new congressional district boundaries that were opposed by Republicans, Democrats and Libertarians in the Wilmington area.

At Acupuncture Happy Hour in Hampstead, the point is feeling good.“You just feel good,” organizer Helen Van Neste said. “Your eyes are open and you see the world.”Five needles go in each ear of participants to help them relax and de-stress.But the other reason to feel good about getting needled: donations go to support treatment at Wounded Warrior Battalion-East, Camp Lejeune.

Brunswick County jail joins national trend, starts video visitation via internet
