Soccer Collies to appear at Under the Lights car show

Signs will notify drivers of bridge openings

By the end of this week, drivers in Brunswick County may know the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge is being raised in time to avoid sitting in a line of traffic for 15 minutes. The N.C. Department of Transportation is working on notifying drivers the bridge will rise by posting notifications on permanent overhead highway signs.
