SALISBURY, NC (AP) — Police say a man trying to rob a Salisbury homeowner has been shot and killed by his intended victim.

Salisbury police say 23-year-old Marlon Barber tried to pull a gun on a man during attempted robbery at the man’s home around 10:30 p.m. Saturday.
