Thursday, April 19th, 2012

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A Wilmington couple will spend years behind bars on federal drug and firearms charges. A federal judge sentenced Maurice Lott to more than eight years and Jessica Lott to more than two years after they pleaded guilty in January.

Prosecutors say the couple received a suspicious package that was mailed from Washington state to Wilmington in March 2011. The package contained marijuana, ecstasy and oxycodone.
