Monday, May 21st, 2012

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — One man is in jail and Brunswick County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for another in connection with a shooting near Supply over the weekend. Jonathan Cortes Molina, 28, of Shallotte, is charged with discharging a weapon into occupied property. Deputies says Jeremy Phillip Bryant is also wanted.

At 12:48 a.m. Sunday, deputies responded to a woman being shot at 2528 Blue Marlin St. SW, Supply. A neighbor told investigators that Jose Aguire, 29, and Francheska Rivera Rodriguez, 23, were shot. Both were transported to the Brunswick Novant Medical Center ER and then to New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Aquire is out of the hospital.

Investigators says it appears that the shots were fired from outside into the mobile home.

Molina is in jail under $150,000 bond.

Anyone with information about Bryant should contact Det. Mike Murray at (910) 880-4942 or the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office (910) 253-2777.
