WILMINGTON, NC (NEWS RELEASE) — The Wilmington Police Department is investigating a suspicious death that was reported at 10:23 p.m. on Thursday night.
EMS responded to a call for a man down near 13th and Queen Streets. The victim, a man in his 20’s, was found dead in a vehicle. The exact cause of death has not been determined, but foul play is suspected.
The victim’s identity is known, but his name is not being released until next of kin can be identified.

CAROLINA SHORES, NC (WWAY) — Brunswick County Sheriff’s Deputies are looking for a 16-year-old girl. Marguerite Alexandra Jones was last seen at home with her mother, when a white man in a green SUV kept driving by, according to a news release from the Sheriff’s Office.
The mother told police her daughter may know the man and thinks her daughter went with him. Marguerite Alexandra is "believed to frequent the Ocean Isle and Sunset Beach areas of Brunswick County," according to the release.
The missing teen is described as a white girl with black hair and brown eyes, standing 5’5" and weighs 115 lbs.
