Handee Hugo’s target of two early morning robberies

Wilmington, NC (WWAY) — According to the New Hanover County sheriff’s office just after two separate Handee Hugo’s were robbed in the early morning hours on Monday.

Around 1:00 AM two men robbed the Handee Hugo’s on Shipyard Boulevard.

Investigators say that the two men who were armed at the time of the robbery were wearing dark blue hoodies and jeans, and both were wearing bandanas.

A few hours later another man would rob the Handee Hugo’s on the 400 block of North College road.

It is unclear at this time if the two robberies are connected.

If you have any information on the whereabouts of these suspects you are being urged to call the New Hanover County sheriff’s office or crime stoppers.
