James Madison sophomore Shabril Brewer carded a course record 68 on the St. James Plantation Reserve Club during the second round of the CAA Women's Golf Championship. Brewer led the Dukes, who entered the round in fourth place, to a first place standing after cutting 23 strokes from their first day's score.
Michael Bass had four hits and five relievers combined to limit George Mason to three runs over the final seven and 2/3 innings as UNCW defeated GMU, 8-3, to earn a Colonial Athletic Association series win on Saturday at Spuhler Field.
