Store clerk uses box cutter to run off armed robbers

Giant game of Chutes & Ladders had bigger meaning

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Kids in Wilmington put their skills to the test this morning with a giant game of Chutes & Ladders.

They took turns spinning the wheel and racing to the finish line.

But the game had a much greater purpose: To educate parents about the importance of investing in children’s education and health care.

Chutes represented ways North Carolina is setting kids back, and ladders represented what the state is doing right.
