BREAKING: Woman cut in face calls 911

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A woman cut in the face overnight called 911 early Thursday before she was transported to the hospital.

The call came in around 4:30 a.m. at 900 N. 30th Street, according to New Hanover County dispatchers.

They say the caller told them she was cut in the face by another woman. The victim was taken to the hospital, but there’s no word yet on her injuries.

Dispatchers say one woman was arrested in connection with the incident.

Junior League President visits Children’s Museum of Wilmington

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Junior League of Wilmington has helped shape our community for the last 60 years through various service projects.

Today, the President of the Association of Junior Leagues International stopped by the Children’s Museum, a place made possible by funding from the league.
