WPD: Investigation into 17-year-old’s murder continues

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police still have not made any arrests in connection to a 17-year-old’s murder last month.

Jeffrey Henry was found shot to death on 7th street around 1:30 a.m. June 20.

Henry’s death and other shootings led some area clergy to call for a 90-day cease fire in gun violence in the city, but there have been several more shootings since.
