Cape Fear Literacy Council Spelling Bee happens tonight in Wilmington

Thursday, September 19th, 2013

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Tonight marks the 26th Annual Spelling Bee for the Cape Fear Literacy Council. It’s a great way for adults to exercise their minds. Spelling Bee Chairwoman Amanda Crosgrove stopped by the GMC studio to fill everyone in on tonight’s free event. Then she tested the skills of the GMC anchors Ashley Jacobs and Randy Aldridge, as well as Meteorologist Tim Buckley.

The Spelling Bee is at the Pine Valley United Methodist Church, 3788 Shipyard Blvd., Wilmington, at 7 p.m. tonight.

Watch the whole clip to see if Tim, Ashley or Randy is the last one standing.
