WILMINGTON, NC (StarNewsOnline.com) — Two men firing guns from moving vehicles on North 30th and Emory streets on Sunday night, preceded a number of shootings that happened later in the evening and into the early morning Monday. No one was injured.

About 9:54 p.m. Sunday, police received reports that one man was seen standing out of the sunroof of a blue Ford Thunderbird firing a gun as the car drove between the 900 block of N. 30th St. to the 1000 block of Emory St., said Linda Rawley, Wilmington Police Department spokeswoman. Witnesses also reported that someone was shooting a gun from a moving silver car with tinted windows, similar to a Honda, as it also drove in the area, Rawley said. Police have not yet determined if the two vehicles were shooting at each other.

Rawley said officers were unable to locate the suspects, but a number of shell casings were found at the intersection of North 30th and Emory street.
