This go around, we got in line with unsuspecting folks at the Food Lion on 17th street to pay some grocery bills.

Food Lion even joined the “Pay it forward” message of the Surprise Squad by donating $150 to the local food pantry.

With the generous support of Alan Perry and Perry’s Emporium, we’ll be showing up somewhere once a week helping people out by buying them lunch or filling up their cars with gas, or buying groceries like we did today.

Thanks to Perry’s Emporium, we went to the Food Lion on 17th street to treat some folks to some free groceries today.

Who knows where we’ll show up next?!? Stay tuned!
