WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Good Morning Carolina crew carved, and our viewers voted, all to name the winner with the best skills in a pumpkin carve-off at Greenlands Farm.
In honor of some Halloween fun and a little friendly competition Christina, Randy and Sarah created their own idea of a pumpkin masterpiece in just an hour from beginning to finish. 
After counting all the votes cast in our online pumpkin poll, Christina's spooky shark attack cut-out took a bite out of the competition, winning by just two votes. Check out the full carving contest story by clicking here.

Officials charge Fayetteville man for death of his neighbor

Cumberland County Sheriff’s deputies charged a Fayetteville man with second degree murder after he allegedly shot and killed his neighbor Thursday night.

Pet Pals: October 31, 2014

WILMINGTON (WWAY) — Every week, a pet up for adoption is featured in Pet Pals.

Local animal shelters bring a pet in need of a home to our studios so viewers have a chance to meet the animal, and get information on how to adopt them.

This week it is a five month old male Schnauzer mix who was brought in by a family that didn’t have time for a dog.

He has been neutered and has all of his necessary shots.

He is available at New Hanover County Animal Services at 180 Division Drive in Wilmington.
