Cape Fear Fair & Expo is back and better than ever

Thursday, October 30th, 2014

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Cape Fear Fair & Expo is back and better than ever. There is more food, fun, and of course, fried food.

Tomorrow night the Wilmington International Airport will light up and fill with the smells of delicious food, and the sounds of laughter from the young and old alike.

Fair Manager Skip Watkins says there are four new rides, and a few new entertaining acts.

“We’ve got a magician and a hypnotist on stage called ‘Agricadabra,’ and we’ve got Old McNally’s pig derby back so we’ve got a lot of free entertainment. So once you’re in, not only is the entertainment included, but the livestock exhibits, the agriculture, but my favorite is the food.”

Burgers, funnel cake, and deep fried Oreos are just a few of those tasty treats.

But if you want discount tickets, you better hurry! Sales for advance $15 tickets ends tonight at midnight.
