Officers arrest 4 Wilmington residents for multiple drug charges

Police arrest man spotted waiving gun around on front porch

Monday, October 27th, 2014

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Police say a man who was spotted waiving a gun around on the front porch of a Wilmington home is charged with going armed to the terror of the public.

Wilmington Police say around 11 p.m. Friday, they got reports that a man in front of a home in the 1400 block of Harbor Drive was waiving a gun in the air, talking about the weapon.

When officers got to the scene, they found a group of several men on the porch there. That’s when police say one of the men said there was a gun on the banister. Along with the weapon, officers say they found a loaded magazine nearby.

Police arrested and charged Joshua Grainger, 25, of Wilmington, with going armed to the terror of the public.

Police investigate robbery of BB&T

Charter schools agree to disclose admin salaries if state signs confidentiality agreement
