WPD: Attempted robberies at 2 Scotchmans could be connected

Attempted robberies occurred Sunday at two Wilmington Scotchmans. Witnesses at both scenes gave very similar descriptions of a lone suspect, but police have not determined whether the incidents are, in fact, connected. No arrests have been made.

Robbery reported at Wilmington Family Dollar

According to New Hanover Communications, reports of a robbery at the Family Dollar at 722 South 17th Street came in at 9:26 p.m.
