Trees cut down at former Galleria Shopping Center under investigation

The City of Wilmington is investigating at least two trees cut down without permit at the former Galleria shopping center site.Jeff Walton, an assistant city planner, says the developer was issued a tree preservation permit before the site was demolished back in November, since then no other permits are on file for the trees at that location.
