Gas leaks lead to evacuations and traffic, officials say hassle is all about safety

A worker’s mistake forces you to evacuate or sit in traffic because a road is closed.It happened just days ago when a crew cut a gas line in Wilmington. Now, some say as more construction picks up with our growing region, we could see more of these accidents happen.

Eldridge in 2nd place after opening round of CAA Golf Championship
