Leland leaders consider stopping door-to-door sales in neighborhoods

Thursday, leaders in the Town of Leland will consider stopping door-to-door sales in residential areas.Currently, to sell goods, wares, or other merchandise in the town you must apply for and be granted a permit. Under the current ordinance, some Home Owner’s Associations prohibit door-to-door sales altogether even if someone has a permit.
