Slide Fest to close Red Cross St

If you plan on going downtown this Sunday consider avoiding Red Cross Street.From noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Sept 20,  Red Cross Street will turn in to a slip-n-slide three blocks long.

Majority of productions that applied for state grant wanted to film in Wilmington

We found out a majority of the productions that applied for the North Carolina Film and Entertainment Grant wanted to film in Wilmington. Of the three selected to get money, one project was selected for Wilmington. Two others will film in other parts of the state.
