McDonald’s near Landfall was robbed by a man with a gun

New Hanover County Dispatch confirms the McDonald’s on Common Wealth Drive was robbed by a man with a gun early Saturday morning. The call came in just after midnight when a suspected entered the McDonald’s near Eastwood and Military Cutoff Road with a gun. No injuries were reported and no word on what was taken at the time of the robbery.The suspect fled the scene on foot and the Wilmington Police Department is looking for the person at this time.

UNCW beats James Madison 3-0

Senior forwards Stephanie Bronson and Katrina Guillou each scored a goal as UNCW (11-5-1) exploded for three goals in the second half en route to a 3-0 Colonial Athletic Association victory over James Madison (9-6-1) at UNCW Soccer Stadium on Friday evening.
