Tidal Creek loses millions in sales, looks to move downtown

Tidal Creek Food Co-op is built around sustainability—but their declining sales are proving to be unsustainable for business to continue.In an email sent Friday, Tidal Creek’s Board of Directors outlined reasons why the Co-op is suffering, and offered a move to downtown Wilmington as a solution.In 2012, Tidal Creek had nearly $5,500,000 in sales, but saw a sharp decline in 2013 with $4,250,000, and 2015 brought just $3,750,000.Factors the Board thinks could be contributing …
