Animal shelter seeks to open on-site spay and neuter clinic

Pender County Animal Shelter is working to start their own on-site spay and neuter clinic. From kittens to dogs and even a few horses, the shelter said they took in 2,710 animals in 2015. However, since the shelter doesn’t have a spay and neuter clinic that also mean hundreds of pets were adopted out without being fixed.
