LINC planning to open a school to shield young men from gang activity

Airport undergoing multi-million dollar general aviation renovation

Travelers who choose to fly private will see even more improvements at Wilmington International Airport this year. ILM is undergoing a 5.8 million dollar project aimed at renovating the entire general aviation area. That includes rehabbing existing concrete, installing a storm drain system, new lighting, and expanding the ramp area so more aircraft can park.
