Traffic slowed to a crawl around the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge

Motorists are experiencing huge traffic slowdowns while heading towards Brunswick County Monday night. WECT has reached out to several agencies including the North Carolina Department of Transportation and haven’t been given a reason for the backups.
