Summer Camps filling up at Wrightsville Beach

Wrightsville Beach is offering a variety of summer camp options beginning in June. There will be camps focused on tennis, basketball, manners and etiquette, and many other options. The camps are popular, and with the growing tourism, they are filling up fast. The Jr. Lifeguard Camp is filled for this year. City of Wilmington releases short-term rental survey results

The City of Wilmington released results from a survey that gauged the public’s opinion on short-term rentals. According to the results, the majority of respondents think short-term rentals should be allowed to operate everywhere in Wilmington and that there shouldn’t be a minimum stay time. Holden Beach reminds residents to be mindful of nesting sea turtles

It is sea turtle nesting season and water temperatures at Holden Beach are beginning to rise. According to a post on the Holden Beach Facebook page, riders will soon start their morning patrols to look for marks in the sand, called crawls, left by the mother turtles laying their nests.
