Connecting, healing veterans through farming

A veteran in Pender County is bringing other vets together through farming. Bill O’Brien served a total of 13 years in the Navy, Army Reserve, and North Carolina National Guard. Beach town struggling to remove sunken shrimp boat

An empty lot, is the site where a home once stood, it’s also the site of a sunken shrimp boat. "This shrimp boat has been there for about 5 years," said Mayor Alan Holden of Holden Beach.
