Know this man? Suspect accused of using stolen credit card at Walmart

The Southport Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a man accused of using a stolen credit card at Walmart. According to Sgt. Kevin Long, the man purchased $436.63 worth of merchandise with the card at the Walmart, located at 1675 N. Howe St., on Aug. 7. He added the man attempted to use two other cards, but they were declined. Long said the credit card was stolen out of a car in Wilmington on Aug. 6, and was also used at the Walmart in Leland. City Council to hold public hearings on proposed additional NHRMC staff parking

Wilmington City Council is expected to hold several public hearings during its meeting Tuesday related to proposed options for additional staff parking at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
