Report recommends closing of three schools in Bladen Co.

The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction on Monday delivered a 110-page report to the Bladen County Board of Education that recommends the closure of three schools. H2GO announces decrease in water, sewer rates

H2GO officials announced Wednesday they decreased water and sewer rates for customers in Leland effective Aug. 1. The water authority attributed the ability to decrease the rates to the controversial $30 million reverse osmosis plant that their Board of Commissioners decided to move forward with in June.
