Power restored to majority of customers, still about 1,000 in the dark

Power has been restored to about 89 percent of Four County EMC customers after Hurricane Matthew swept through the area, leaving thousands in the dark. According to the utility company, about 1,000 customers in the flooded areas of Bladen, Columbus, Pender and Sampson counties are waiting for electricity to be restored.
