Friend of murder victim: ‘she wanted that perfect life’

The man who shot himself at a local gun range Monday had previous run-ins with law enforcement. Justin Hakeem Walker, who Wilmington Police say killed himself after murdering his fiancee, was accused of pointing a gun at a man’s head in 2014.

Rachael Ray names Bitty and Beau’s her show’s official coffee supplier

Bitty and Beau’s Coffee are used to sending their beans all over the state, but now their product is headed up to New York City. In an episode that aired yesterday, popular television show host Rachael Ray told the Wilmington-based coffee shop she was naming them the official coffee supplier of the Rachael Ray Show.
