Evacuation lifted for Black River Basin

The mandatory evacuation order for the Black River Basin that went into effect Oct. 11 has been rescinded. While the Pender County Office of Emergency Management says it is okay for property owners to reach their homes and businesses, residents should use extreme caution when doing so.
