Chemours will capture all wastewater for off-site disposal

In a letter to the NC Department of Environmental Quality Wednesday, Chemours agreed to capture all process wastewater from its facility and dispose of it off-site.

New Hanover Schools now offer digital library cards for students, staff

H2GO director on future of board of commissioners: ‘There may not be much for them to govern over’

According to H2GO Executive Director Bob Walker, the water authority’s decision to convey all its assets to the Town of Belville doesn’t mean that the governing board of commissioners will be dissolved. Dive teams join in search for missing NC toddler; volunteer search effort announced

A statewide Amber Alert was issued Monday morning for a missing toddler in Onslow County. According to the North Carolina Department of Public Safety, authorities are searching for 3-year-old Mariah Kay Woods.
