NHC students awarded teaching scholarships

Four New Hanover County high school seniors were awarded scholarships on Tuesday. Hannah Freas, Haley Harwood, Hannah Marable and Faith Seamon received the Board of Education Student Scholarships and were honored with a signing ceremony.  The board awards four scholarship loans of $7,000 each year to an accredited North Carolina college or university of the recipient’s choice, for a total amount of $28,000 per scholarship.
