WARM receives $150,000 for disaster recovery

A big check should make for a big step forward for Hurricane Matthew victims whose homes are still in need of repairs. The North Carolina Housing Finance Agency presented the Wilmington Area Rebuilding Ministry with a $150,000 check for disaster recovery efforts.

Residents outraged over deplorable apartment conditions

More than 100 people living in the Pines of Wilmington apartment complex have signed a petition asking for simple repairs and improvements. According to residents, common areas are dirty and littered with trash with maintenance and repairs lacking.
